HANDLE Institute

The HANDLE Institute provides an effective, non-drug alternative for identifying and treating most neuro-developmental disorders across the lifespan including Autism, ADD, ADHD, Dyslexia and Tourette's Syndrome.

Interactive Metronome

Interactive Metronome® (IM®) was developed in the early 1990s and is used to help children with learning and developmental disorders as well as adult neuro-rehabilitation patients. IM is a neuro-motor & assessment treatment tool used in therapy to improve the neurological processes of motor planning and sequencing.

Center for Autism and Related Disorders (CARD)

The Center for Autism & Related Disabilities at the University of South Florida is a community-based project that provides information and consultation to individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders and related disabilities.

Central Florida Autism Institute

Child Find

Early Steps is provided as a locally based program to meet the needs of infants and toddlers with special needs and their families. The local Early Steps closely with the Department of Education, the Agency for Health Care Administration, and with other providers to insure the most effective early intervention services

Florida and Diagnostic Learning Resources System (FDLRS)

The function of Parent Services is to provide training opportunities, information about support groups and community resources, and maintain the FDLRS family preview collection. Receive information on local resources, state and regional trainings as well as other FDLRS events.

Florida Parent Educators’ Association

The Florida Parent Educators Association (FPEA) exists solely to serve homeschooling families in Florida. The FPEA executes that mission through support for the legal right to homeschool, local school board education and interaction, support group networking, a state convention, local conferences and events, informative communications, and most importantly, by giving individual encouragement, all in accordance with Judeo-Christian principles.

Relationship Development Intervention® (RDI®)

Relationship Development Intervention® (RDI®) is a research based treatment approach developed by Dr. Steven Gutstein and Dr. Rachelle Sheely of The Connections Center in Houston, Texas. RDI certified consultants coach parents in a method that remediates the core deficits of autism.
